Prof Anjan Chatterjee (Frank A. and Gwladys H. Elliott Professor and Chair of Neurology at Pennsylvania Hospital) visited Singapore discusses how neuroscience can inform architecture and the special challenges that Asia might be facing.

–New paper on the instability of aesthetic judgments (JESP)

-We are presenting 6 posters at the forthcoming APS conference at San Franscisco – topics include architecture and psychology, decision making, culture, virtual reality and even on how to optimize the format of water and electricity bills. Please come and find us!

– Jan / Feb 2018: two more papers to be soon published. The first paper examines the effects of Melatonin on human health; the second gives guidelines on how to use fMRI in environmental studies. Content to be uploaded very soon.

– Oct 2017: Paper on working in underground spaces in China published! This is a study combining sociological, psychological and environmental science methods to understand what workers in Underground Spaces (such as offices, stations etc.) believe about these spaces as a working environment.

– Jan 2017: Paper on Cultural Attachment accepted at BBR! Stay tuned.
